I am a Mortician in a small town funeral home. We had been communicating online for quite sometime, and just had this magnetic draw to each other! We sent videos and voice memos back and forth (a ridiculous amount of cover songs); we are huge karaoke nerds. When first meeting in person, we had a couple of beers at a local tavern and turned out some awesome tunes! It felt natural from the very first moment. Then we went back to the funeral home and shared a pizza lunchable and watched a movie!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We took our first beach trip together as a couple/family. I have a 15 year old son and Dan has a 6 year old son from previous relationships. The weather was perfect and we flew kites and soaked up the rays together! Down the road from the condo we stay at in South Padre Island, Texas there is a quaint little place called Kelly’s Irish Pub with dollar bills all over the walls and ceilings. We had a blast showing the boys how to play pool, and put our names on a dollar to immortalize the time.
What would you do with $20,000?Well I’m sure as any new age millennial family would do, we would love to put money down on a place to call our own! We’re a nuclear family and just want to have a home for our boys (hopefully in the future a sweet bundle of joy as well!) We currently rent, but dream of owning a home of our own. We believe being able to be able say you’re a homeowner is the biggest blessing! And to also complete our perfect family of hopefully five.
