In 1995 on the side of a river in East Tn we were at a gathering and he was there with his children. He was loud and boistous and I didnt care for him at all. Someone said "yall would make a cute couple" and I said "nope". The next week we were at the river again. This time he did not have his kids with him. We all went to eat at a local sandwich shop and we stayed there until 6-7 pm talking in the parking lot. It was May on Mother's day sunday and we referred to that as our "time warp."
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our weddng day. We had dated for 4 years and we got married ay 8am on a Sunday mrning on July 4th 1999. I frequently told him he now had anew meaning to independence day.We had a friend of his meet us at the church .the only ones present were he and i, and our 4 children. Afterwards we all went to eat at a breakfast buffet and that was that. No big fanfare, no big celebration. Just a quiet little wedding. We were together 23 years .
