How did your love story begin?

We met in 2018, at the time we were both 21 and worked at Pizza Hut as delivery drivers. After 9 months of being work friends we decided to take our relationship outside of the workplace. Two days into us hanging out and seeing where this could go tragedy struck, my mother died unexpectedly. Most 21 year old boys probably would’ve walked away. Ian not only stayed by my side and helped with everything but his family opened their doors to me, a stranger. 7 years later he is still my knight.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We have gone through so much life experiences together. Death of family, graduating college, moving from place to place, being long distance. In the 7 years we have been together we have been through more than some who have been together for 20 years. With all we’ve been through life has been hard and things took time. In 2024 the best thing finally happened. We got engaged. Surrounded by our friends in one of our favorite places. The happiness and love we felt was unmatched.

What would you do with $20,000?

Have the wedding of our dreams! We are slowly saving to have our wedding. After everything we want to have the wedding we have always dreamed of, something my mom can smile on from heaven. We are currently paying off student loan debt, debt from years of trying to squeeze by while finishing our degrees. $20,000 would help us in so many ways.
