Connect How did your love story begin?

His mom got divorced when he was 8 and met my uncle. He told me we were going to meet his new friend and I noticed a little boy (my age) jumping on his bed and from then, I knew there was something about him I loved. The relationship was short lived + she became a family friend. I would always look forward to seeing him but between his mom and dad, I'd pray to see him. 10 turned to 13, to 16 and 23 hit and I shooted my shot. He turned me down and came running at 27. 5 years and now married, BFF

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Favourite memory would be our first trip to Calgary, Alberta. It literally felt lik a Romcom. From flight delays to hotel rearranging, the first night he lost his cell phone. Third day the Uber driver took us to the airport instead of the bus stop and we had to hunt down the bus around Calgary. Lost my luggage keys, and ended up in a terrible motel I thought was a 5-star hotel. With even more troubles, we came out laughing. It is definitely our most memorable as we didn't kill each other lol.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would honestly like to combine our DNA and create a human that would have a bit of both of us. We also bought a home and as I'm in my last year of school to become a child therapist, a dent in our debt would be helpful. We have been doing our best to savs up for maternity leave and having a little one. We would also donate some funds to autism as it is near and dear to both our hearts.
