We met at our Army school. I was a broadcast journalist and he was a combat cameraman. Both of us were there to make better lives for our children and became best friends instantly. From the second we laid eyes on each other it was like a missing piece of a puzzle snapped into place.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We’ve had the blessings to be able to live and travel all over the world and give our children great adventures…however, our favorite memory as a couple is the day we finally received custody of my husband’s last daughter and our family became 100 percent whole. There is no feeling in the world better than knowing you will all be together and no one can change that.
What would you do with $20,000?If we won the 20,000, we would take all six children and our two new beautiful grandchildren, on one final trip together. Now that (most of) our children are older, they are scattered across the United States. We haven’t been all together in almost three years. My husband and I are still both active duty also, so that also hinders our movements. Having the opportunity to have all six children with our two grandchildren in the same place would be a dream-come-true!
