West Coast meets East Coast and it’s Love at first sight. 8 years, 3 kids, 13 moves & countless adventures later, still growing in love.
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
I met Jose while on holiday visiting a friend. We had our first date that same day. I was very blunt about my values and life goals, assuming I wouldn’t see him again since I was just visiting. I later found out he was praying to find a woman who would just be direct and honest about what she wanted. We talked for hours (until The Olive Garden closed). Sparks flew and not a bite of food was eaten. We both went home and told our families we were going to marry each other. 5 months later, we did.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? We have so many adventurous memories, but I’d have to pick our last date before our third baby was born. He surprised me with a night out, which rarely happens. We went to dinner, laughed and talked with no interruptions. As much as we love our children, it was so nice to reconnect as a couple. We ended the night playing “We’re not really strangers”. We laughed so much and learned so much about each other, even after 8 years. It was like our first date all over again. It felt like magic.
What would you do with $20,000?Honestly, after tax and tithing, we’d probably pay off my medical debt, take a relaxing mini vacation (and pay the babysitter) to spend some much needed 1 on 1 time, and get Jose that hot tub he’s been begging for lol
