Connect How did your love story begin?

We met each other at Valley Fair Mall 7 years ago. We both worked at different kiosks in the middle of the mall. The first interaction we had together Harley said “You have impeccable fashion sense”. Then for a year we hated each other because of how much we loved each other, and eventually I asked him to be my boyfriend. Fast forward a few years, he proposed on Christmas. Then 5 months later we were married surrounded by 3 of our amazing friends and our tattoo artist/best friend officiated.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

So many to choose from but the one collectively we come to is our first major trip we ever went on. We drove in a 2004 Dodge Stratus from Utah to the very tip of Washington State. That is when we drove straight down the coast into Newport, Oregon and even further into California. We followed the whole coast enough that we even slept in our car to stay right in the perfect view. We bonded over every site we saw and really got to know each other.

What would you do with $20,000?

My husband, Harley, has been sick since he was 11 years old. He has an anomalous musculoskeletal disorder likely caused by a brain malformation so his body will continue to get worse as he ages. I would love to use the money to get him the top tier medical supplies as well as take him on a much needed vacation before his body gets worse.
