I was in the middle of a costody battle after being groomed by an abusive older man and bearing 4 kids from him. Finally left after the kids were taken, but was drinking a lot due to situational depression. I met him at the bar one night and never spent a day without him since. We got my kids back, moved into a rental home, got married and had a baby of our own.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Probably when we went on our first family vacation earlier this year. First time we could afford it and it was just magical sitting on the beach and watching our littles play and squeal in excitement. I couldn’t stop staring into his eyes in utter awe that we had finally made it.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d definitely use it as a downpayment on a house. We’ve been in a rental the past few years and before that an apartment. We’ve been looking at houses but are struggling keeping afloat the downpayment money. So probably that and new furniture for our future forever home!
