We met overseas and found out that our families had known each other for 20 years, we just didn’t know each other existed.

I was on vacation in Colombia visiting family with my best friend and her family. We went to a house party at one of her relatives house, and the only open seat left was next to me. My husband showed up after everyone else because he was working. He said hi to everyone and then sat next to me. We exchanged names, started talking and found out that our families had known each other for about 20 years, we just didn’t know each other. He asked me for my number and asked me on a date shortly after.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Picking up everything and moving from Nashville to Atlanta and starting from scratch. We moved by ourselves to a bigger city, bigger apartment to start our new chapter. There was a lot of uncertainty but we took the risk. Since we were coming from a tiny apartment, we had to furnish and decorate everything. The favorite memory is taking the risk together and seeing our new life begin and show so much promise.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use it to help pay off my medical bills since I have MS and constantly have medical bills. We would use it to go on a honey moon as well since we haven’t been able to afford one since we had a civil wedding. We would also use it to pay off my student loans, or a down payment on a house.
