Connect How did your love story begin?

He was working in car sales & was on a social media site scouring for customers. Saw this woman Heidi, who lived about a half an hour away purporting a lifestyle that he just thought no woman would choose for herself. They started talking online & after a month before even meeting he offered to move her in with him out of her environment & her negative stimulus to give her a chance to turn her life around. He showed up at her doorstep for the 1st time and they fell in love at first sight.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our wedding day 4 years after the day we met. We’d been through hell together. Heidi had established her sobriety, gotten treated successfully for her previously undiagnosed bipolar disorder & Jason stood by her against the wishes of everyone who he knew. We had beaten the odds as a couple and gotten to where no one thought we ever would. It was surreal standing side-by-side at the altar. He called their relationship us versus the world & on September 6, 2014 they emerged victorious!

What would you do with $20,000?

I would pay off much of the debt that started to be accumulated back in the troubled early days for Heidi and myself as a twosome. I would buy an affordable second car for the two of us. Other than that, no real extravagant purchases though I may take $1000 off the top for Heidi and I to spend together. It may not sound exciting, but as Heidi and I are coming up on 11 years of marriage in this life that I promised her before we met the most important thing is continued comfort & stability.
