We met officially at a mutual friend's party. But, we had seen each other around before that. We talked a little bit and flirted at the party, but I couldn't remember his name the next day. In a bold move, I posted in the public Facebook event page, described what he looked like and asked my friends if anyone knew who he was. Someone chimed in, that's Alex Loyd! And that same person was at our wedding 9 years later, retelling that story. I was drawn to him and had to know who he was!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?In 2017 we went to Oregon to see the Total Solar Eclipse at Symbiosis festival. It's truly felt like a once in a lifetime celestial event. It was so stunningly beautiful, it brought us both to tears. I remember hugging after totality had passed and feeling so grateful that I got to witness the Eclipse with the person that I wanted to do life with.
What would you do with $20,000?It would very likely go towards the purchase of a home, and help us build a foundation for starting a family. We really want to have a baby. I am a freelance artist, and work can sometimes be unpredictable. He has always supported me in my artistic endeavors and kept us afloat. I think the money would help us continue to grow and thrive together.
