We met at the finally of a military exercise at Langley AFB,VA in an exchange deserving of its own story. We connected over being single parents, separated from our children and both graduating high school in Oregon. Our friendship turned to something more after an unplanned separation. Life threw us together and we’ve been holding on ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory is of our 25 year wedding renewal ceremony. Recommitting our lives to each other in a multicultural ceremony with 3500 people at sunset. All dressed in traditional ancient garb. Our ceremony represented 7 cultures. We walked around a fire, received blessings from our wedding party, an Irish prayer was read to honor both past and present, we were blessed by fire dancers, there were many toast in our honor, lots of love shared. It was truly a once in a life time experience.
What would you do with $20,000?In 36 years of marriage, we have never taken a real vacation. If we won we would purchase two tickets to paradise, and our destination would be the Mediterranean. He has always wanted to show her the beaches and she has always wanted to go to Tuscany.
