Our love story began at sea in 2018, working together on a cruise ship. We started as friends, but fate had bigger plans. Even with distance, time zones, and ship assignments keeping us apart, we stayed connected. From Kentucky to the Philippines, we reunited across the world. After years of long-distance love and shared adventures, we tied the knot in June 2024. What started on the ocean became a lifelong journey together.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?During the COVID pandemic, my husband flew me to Kentucky in July 2020 so we could be together. It was my first time meeting his amazing family, they were so supportive and welcomed me with open hearts, even though I was the only Filipina there. On Christmas Eve, Dustin proposed in front of his parents. It was emotional, beautiful, and unforgettable. Love will travel if you let it - and ours did, across oceans and through every challenge
What would you do with $20,000?We’ve worked on ships for nearly 13 years with no days off for 6+ months at a time. During our short vacations, we stay with my husband’s parents. Winning $20,000 would help us start a new chapter - getting our own home, transitioning to land-based jobs, and, if God permits, building a family of our own. It would be a life-changing step toward stability and the future we’ve been dreaming of together.
