Connect How did your love story begin?

We met through Facebook dating and had our first date on October 30, 2021. We had dinner at Giordano’s and watched the World Series which is our favorite thing. We dated for 1 1/2 years and then he proposed at the zoo. We have been together for 3 1/2 years and married for 7 months. We definitely found our “person.” We are so glad we get to love each other forever.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We went to Maui for our second Valentine’s Day together and he got to experience Lahaina for the first time and unfortunately it would be the last time as the fire happened five months later. It was so magical being there together and experiencing it together. The food, the ambiance, the water, the beautiful banyan tree etc. We drove there 4-5 times while we were on Maui. We love it and now Hawaii is both of our happy places. We had our honeymoon there and then went back six months later.

What would you do with $20,000?

We could do so much with that. We have had over $3,000 worth of car problems recently and unfortunately had to use credit cards for that. So we would love to pay off our credit cards completely and start the rest of our marriage debt free besides our house. We would also love to pay off the rest of a condo that I own and pay off a bill for an a/c unit that had to be replaced. Save some for a new car we need. Lastly, donate some and maybe go on a small trip.
