We met through our mutual friend/hairstylist, Cristina. She was cutting his hair one day and said "I know a girl that you HAVE to meet!" She convinced him -a complete stranger- to send me flowers at work on Valentine's Day. On that day, I received the BIGGEST flower arrangement I had ever gotten, with a note that read "I watch you while you sleep." I gave Cristina the greenlight to give him my number, and he text me that night saying "Well, I didn't get a restraining order, and got your number!"

The memory that stands out most to me is when I told him I was finally pregnant after 3+ years of trying. He came home from work to a cocktail waiting for him, Back to the Future on, and some gifts. It was the positive pregnancy tests, some baby books, and onesies. We danced in the kitchen holding each other, going back and forth from laughing to crying, to WHAT on earth have we gotten ourselves into! We were beyond happy, but also terrified! In that moment, it truly felt like time stood still.

I would without a doubt put it towards a wonderful vacation for just me and him, or towards our home. We became first time parents in 2023, so it has been tricky to put money away for a lavish vacation - we would absolutely love a week away from our responsibilities! We have also been renovating our home since we bought it back in 2018, and there's still plenty more to do!
