We would like to thank you for supporting The Lees in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We both used to work at the Hyatt. I was a chef, and he worked as a server. He was also a mutual friend within my circle, so we often found ourselves spending time together. What started as a friendship naturally grew into something more, and before we knew it, we had fallen in love.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I have so many favorite memories, but my top one is when Peter took me to meet his grandmother at the senior home where she lived. He brought me with him every Sunday so I could get to know her and build a relationship, because she was such an important part of his life.My second favorite is when we became parents to our wonderful handsome twin boys Aadi & Miles.
What would you do with $20,000?There’s always so much you can do with $20,000, but our top priority would be to put some of it toward buying our first home. With 3-year-old twin boys, having a stable place to raise them means everything to us. We’d also set aside a portion for their future whether it’s education or simply giving them a strong start in life. And lastly, we’d use some of the money to support family members who might be in need, because helping our loved ones is deeply important to us.
