Our love story began at the San Leandro Marina, but it was God who brought our paths together. As we each pursued transformation—physically, mentally, and spiritually—He was writing something greater. I had just completed my master’s program, he was pressing toward his bachelor’s program, and through mutual growth and grace, God led us to love. Since the moment we met, we have been transparent with one another and listened without judgement. We both knew this was "different."

Our favorite memory as a couple will always be the day he proposed in front of the Cinderella castle in Disneyland. Surrounded by wonder, joy, and the fairytale setting, it felt like time stood still. In that moment, it wasn’t just about the magic of Disney—it was about the magic of God’s timing. Just 17 days later, we stood together and said 'I do,' with full hearts and unwavering faith. It was quick to some, but to us, it was perfectly orchestrated by God. We have been married now 3.5 years.

As we have been living life on an accelerated pace, we never did go on a honeymoon. We would use a portion of the money to go on a honeymoon to Hawaii where we can relax and enjoy some island life. We can also use a portion to pay down some student loan debt.
