We didn’t know it, but our story began 30 years before we met. We were at the University of Connecticut together in the same campus in the same dorm group… I was a resident advisor and I used to walk through his dorm all the time on rounds… We both remember the volleyball court where he was always playing… And then 30 years later we met… Both bored swiping… Both done with love, but looking for companionship. Our first date lasted six hours.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?It’s hard to come up with just one because we have so many amazing ones… But a strange as it sounds I would have to say it was the car accident. I was in less than three weeks after we met… I totaled my car on my way to see him. He came immediately and took care of me and help me handle everything… I had never felt so seen or cared for.
What would you do with $20,000?His family is from Panama so I imagine we would use some of this money to spend some time with them… I’ve been practicing my Spanish for when we finally get to go.
