We literally met on a Wednesday night (Sept. 30,1987), had our first date three days later on Saturday night, and were making wedding plans the next day. We married that next August!!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?37 years equals a LOT of memories; this is no easy question to answer! While it’s not necessarily a memory, but an enduring fact, I feel like it’s notable five of our six are left handed. Fondest memory would be October ‘23, when our family would meet for what turned out to be the last time with all of us alive - in Nashville for our oldest son Jordan’s marriage celebration. Lesa and I with our four adult children, one daughter-in-love, Miranda, and our only (so far) grandchild, Elizabeth.
What would you do with $20,000?There are needs of many kinds in this life. Our family has always sought to serve others; to put other’s needs before our own. However, I think with our second son, Cameron being unexpectedly killed in an accident just two months ago, we would attempt to take a family vacation (longer than a few days) in his honor. In our years together, we haven’t had the means to do so. Having said that, I’m certain that with whatever we could save, we would seek to help others while we travel.
