We are partners in purpose, passion, and exploring life together.
We would like to thank you for supporting The kovachs in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
Our love story began quietly, the way the best ones often do—not with fireworks, but with friendship. Megan and I met during orientation for social work graduate school. It was one of those hectic days filled with icebreakers, nervous introductions, and the hum of anticipation for the unknown path ahead. Amid all of that, there was Megan—warm, grounded, and instantly easy to talk to. We clicked in a way that felt natural. No pressure, no expectations. Just two people connecting over shared goals
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? One of our favorite memories together is from a long weekend we spent at Acadia National Park, a place that had been on our list for years. We finally made the trip one October, just as the leaves were reaching their peak. We packed the car with hiking boots, too many snacks, and made the drive up the coast of Maine with excitement buzzing between us like static. We got engaged at the end of this trip right by the otter cliffs!
What would you do with $20,000?We would use that money towards our IVF journey and starting the family we have always wanted. Lily struggles with endometriosis and PCOS and underwent an egg retrieval as her doctors told her the chances of being able to carry were slim. With reciprocal IVF, Megan is able to carry with Lily’s embryos so they can share the miracle of having a child truly together.
