We went out the first time after my wife's friend canceled on her birthday. We worked at the same place, so I said come on, we're going out to celebrate your birthday. That day, her birthday, started our story. Our story has continued through the years, with watching our children get married now and buying their own homes. What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My favorite memory is after all of the years, and raising 2 fantastic children, proposing on the beach in Aruba. She had been hinting at getting married and even asked if I think about the future, I said I think about tomorrow all the time. I had already bought her ring, LOL. I proposed, at sunset on the beach, with our kids there. It was years in the making, and a magical time.. When she walked down the aisle, we had A Thousand Years, piano version, playing. Our story is truly A Thousand Years.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would use the 20k to purchase a home. We've rented ever since being married, and would finally have the deposit to buy our own home. After years of waiting, the story we have created would open to another chapter. That chapter would see us having a home that we could welcome our children over to visit, and soon enough grandchildren. .
