Connect How did your love story begin?

Our story began at our job. I (Andrew) was working as a Ride Operator at a theme park and Cade came in as a guest. It all happened exactly like the movies: slow motion, sweeping orchestral music, angelic light from above illuminating the most beautiful man I had ever seen. I thought he was going to disappear into the crowd like the rest but one fateful night we ran into each other backstage and hugged for the first time. The rest is herstory. We have been changed, for good.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of the top contenders for favorite memory is definitely the time Cade proposed to me at sunset.. IN COSTA RICA. It was a family trip with my mom, sibling, and their respective partners. Since we had arrived, Cade had been stressing the importance of seeing the sunset every night. Well on the 3rd evening, he wanted to get dressed up and take pictures on the beach with everyone. Next thing I know I turn around and there he is on one knee with a ring. Spoiler alert... I said yes!

What would you do with $20,000?

We would love to use the money to finally be able to throw the wedding reception of our dreams and redo our vows in front of our iconic officiant, Jeff Goldblum. We had an intimate wedding ceremony and dinner reception with our close family and friends earlier this year on 3/24/25. It was a beautiful day, but we are a more is more kind of couple. With the costs of weddings we decided to keep the experience small out of necessity. Our dream wedding finally feels in reach.
