Connect How did your love story begin?

We were introduced through a mutual friend, even though King said he wasn't interested in dating. We started as friends, going on "outings" together and watching TNF together every week. Two months later, I was venting to King after a bad date and we decided to give each other a chance. We started with a Dating Contract, outling the core principles and values that we each had, and how we wanted to show up for one another. The contract expanded over time and we have chosen to do life together.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

🦋Michelle- September 24, 2022; that's the day I fell in love with King. We were at Penn's Landing in PA and after a day "date," we kissed by the water and I knew instantly that I loved him and that I wanted to spend my life with him. 👑King- After that kiss, we walked down to the big, red Welcome to Philadelphia chair to sit and talk some more. I knew then that she was special. My feelings for Michelle grew in that moment and I have always cherished it.

What would you do with $20,000?

King has a heart condition (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy) and is an USAF vet; Michelle is a high school Business teacher. Winning $20,000 would help secure our future so that King could be closer to retirement to better focus on his health. He's experienced some health issues this year and this would lessen stress caused by financial concerns.
