He's the yin to my yang. We wrote our answers together, because he is a better writer, but I add personality. And that is the story of us!
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
My husband and I had a "night we didn't meet" and a "night we met." I was out for a girls night. My friends knew his friend. So we were introduced but I wasn't interested. My friends thought it would be super funny to introduce us every time he passed by and I got annoyed and told him to go away. But they weren't done. One of them was having a birthday party the next night & they invited him. When I saw him again, I felt bad about the night before, so I struck up a convo and the rest is history
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? The keys to a good relationship are: trust building, endurance, vulnerability, teamwork, comedy, and being able to face your fears. Ideally, they're spread out over the years, but between the 7 hour drive to hike to the top of a cliff, dangling our feet off once we got there, ostriches, turkeys, and bananas foster, we had that all on our first road trip 3 weeks into our relationship.
What would you do with $20,000?First, we'd hire a photographer because we haven't had pictures where one of us isn't missing in years. Then we'd buy tacos for every third-wheeling friend who's cheered us on, even if they never offered to take pictures of us together. Because love isn't always easy, and supportive friends deserve mariachi bands and margaritas- and so does Shane for putting up with me for the past 17 years
