I swiped right on Michael in the “Bumble” app and we began chatting immediately. We chatted through my hiking vacation in Sedona,AZ with my teenagers and knew we had an immediate connection. He met me at the door when I returned home and we have been inseparable since then! We blended our families as so many do in this modern world, and began navigating the challenges of raising teenagers and a son on the Autism spectrum. We continue to grow everyday, both as individuals and a family!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?For a landmark birthday we booked a trip to Italy. Michael bought tickets for a cooking class in Rome. We drank Prosecco,ate focaccia bread & danced to Motown music (we reside in Michigan) and all while learning to make homemade pasta. Chef told us to “add as much cheese as your heart tells you to “. Michael states every new day is a favorite memory for us! ☺️
What would you do with $20,000?We would like to donate to the University of Michigan Department of Psychiatry as they conduct research on autism spectrum disorder, including a large genetic study called SPARK. And perhaps stock our wine pantry with a few more bottles of Prosecco!
