Connect How did your love story begin?

We met each other in High School, I was a Senior, she was a Junior. We slightly dated but started taking it serious in college. We truly felt like we were soul mates since the beginning, the way that we shared birthdays, initials, lived in the same areas growing up, parents all lived in the same areas, all while not even knowing each other. Most importantly we Loved the same, volunteered, mentored youth, shared the same group of 40 friends since High School and never left each others side!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory is getting engaged on our birthday. I threw her a surprise birthday party, where she thought she was taking a photoshoot, I had her blindfolded and turned her towards the crowd, they all surprised her but they were surprised too as they only thought they were coming for a bday party. As they screamed "Surprise" i was down on 1 knee behind her in front of a revealed "Marry me" sign surprising everyone, because i didn't tell a soul! that i was going to do it.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we were to win the $20,000 we would instantly give back and donate every dollar to the Developmental Disability community. Serving the community for over 14 years we know the financial difficulties the community has, stopping them from living in decent neighborhoods, experiencing eventful activities, having adequate food, hygiene supplies and clothes etc. We are beyond dedicated to those we serve and would love to donate every dollar for that purpose!!
