Our love story began on the fated night we both decided to show up at the OK cafe for karaoke. A place I had never been and he didn’t frequent. I sang “are you gonna be my girl” I could feel his eyes on me the whole time. I get done singing and sit with my friends, he comes over, plops down and just starts talking to us like we had known each other a long time. He adds me on Facebook and we have been damn near inseparable ever since

It was the first Mother’s Day weekend after my mom had passed. I was very emotional. He did everything he could from keeping me busy to holding me while I sobbed. He took me to Indian mill Saturday for a picnic and to dig in the sand for cool rocks. Reminding me it’s okay to take a breath, live in the moment and enjoy the small things. The beautiful sun coming through the clouds, the sounds of the waterfall, making sure I saw every cool rock that sandbar had to offer. He made me feel so loved
