Connect How did your love story begin?

We both played rugby for the same club in high school, but didn’t officially meet until end of college. At a friend’s party, we managed to stay up literally all night talking, just to call eachother after and KEEP talking. The 3 hour drive between us didn’t stop us from a beautiful year together. With an unfortunate turn (as every great story has), things ended, but we could never forget one another as the ones that got away. 3 years later, rugby brought us back together, and the rest is history

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

While obviously not a “favorite,” grieving a dying pet was one of the most intimate experiences that we have agreed we were simply so so lucky to have each other for. There have been countless trips, and the time we won The Dating Show on a cruise is definitely up there. But the favorites are simply the times we have been home together, playing games and drinking wine, watching movies and cooking dinner, existing together as partners.

What would you do with $20,000?

Shortly after Covid, Abi got a cancer diagnosis that has led to extra screenings and doctor visits every year, resulting in several years of big medical bills. On top of that, from the mental weight of the pandemic (and the diagnosis), there was some debt incurred from trying to live life a little too fully. We would love to get out of debt before we start the journey of growing our little family!
