My husband and I met in 2019. I was finally coming out of my depression from losing my dad in 2018, and decided to get back to living. We met at a Pacers NBA game when we locked eyes from a couple rows apart. We kept eye contact until a call was made on the court. I found out that he was a mutual friend in my sporting friends group. After the game some of us met up and when he said he was leaving I chose to leave too and exchange information. He walked me to my car and I just felt our connection

We have SO many great memories! We used to travel so much, but, my health took a hit in 2021 when I went to the ER for glut/hip pain and found out that I was actually riddled with blood clots, low back to ankle on the left and two in my middle right lung. He only left my side once, when my mom came to visit, to go home, shower, and bring pizza for us. He is the most amazing man I’ve ever met. I love him more than I can ever describe! I told him he could back out of our engagement, he said never.

That’s really difficult to say! Pay off our credit card debt, put some aside for a down payment on our first house together, and definitely take a real honeymoon together. We have been living with my in laws because my husband made a grave mistake in his late teens early twenties so we don’t have a lot of options for places to live and a lot of our money went to our wedding and my medical bills. So here we are. Despite all of this, I am so happy and in love with Chad and his love shines on me 🥰
