We went to the same high school and met through mutual friends. When I moved away for college, he messaged me on twitter to go out for lunch when I came back home to visit. Our first date was at five guys and I learned soon later that hamburgers were his favorite meal. 6 months of him traveling 3 hours to come see me almost every week, he ended up moving in and supported me until I finished college. 9 years later we are still in love and got married just one year ago.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory has to be one of the first walks we went on at a park. We needed to find somewhere to kill time while we waited for our movie to start at the local theatre. We found a park close by and walked around a couple of times by the lake. I later found out this was the moment he knew he wanted to marry me. Since then we go on walks weekly together and spend a lot of time outdoors. It’s quality time with each other to keep our relationship strong and check in weekly.
What would you do with $20,000?We would first donate 20% to our local animal shelter that Kim volunteers at and we adopted our cat from. We would also go back to Hawaii where we spent our honeymoon. We spent a lot of time outdoors together and in the water and would love to spend some time there again.
