Connect How did your love story begin?

We met by chance at a gentlemen club. My wife(19 yoa) and I(22 yoa) were drawn together by a spark that became an inseparable bond that was unexpected for either of us. Within the first week we were already talking about getting married. There were a few obstacles that postponed us tying the knot immediately. I was playing minor league baseball and My wife was in the process to become a flight attendant. In February of 98' I was released and My wife denied on being hired. The love story began...

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory is working small side jobs all week just to afford weekend getaways before we got married. Those trips, full of laughter and simplicity, strengthened our love and showed us that all we truly needed was each other. In the chaos of the world, we found peace in being young and in love. Those moments were pure magic—and sometimes, we wish we could go back and relive them all over again.

What would you do with $20,000?

We sacrificed our weekend getaways for golf tournaments so our daughter could play competitive golf. It paid off because she earned a full scholarship to play collegiate golf. Now we are supporting our daughters dream to pursue Law School. We will donate some of the proceeds to the junior golf associations that helped our daughter become a collegiate golfer. And of course we will use some of the money to get back to our lovely weekend getaways.
