We were both very young and has both been through so very much. I had a baby and became friends with a girl who had a baby 6 months before me I met in church. She began dating her now husband and they decided to introduce me to his cousin. The moment I saw him I saw our world together in his eyes. There would be so many signs to follow that we were meant to be.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We had been dating about 3 months. We had a special date planned and I bought him a single red rose to tell him I loved him. He showed up hours early for the date but the crazy thing is I was ready that early. When he showed up to my door, he had 18 red roses to tell me he loved me. So many things in our story are like this. Even after almost 30 years we don't want to spend any time apart. My love treats me like a goddess daily. Though we've never had much, we've always had each other.
What would you do with $20,000?We've never really had a vacation together. Almost all of our travels were for medical reasons for me or to visit family. I would love to be able to celebrate 30 years by finally taking a real vacation somewhere magical.
