Tim had a job in Durban South Africa and I was living there. The first day he arrived, we matched on bumble and we started talking. Interesting enough, we spoke till he went to sleep and planned to meet for drinks the next day after work. The following day we spoke the whole day, sharing our day until we met in the evening for drinks. After that first date, we met everyday after work and 3 days later Tim decided to take some time off work and not go back to Switzerland but stay in South Africa.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?When we were house hunting, we walked toured our house and when we were on the balcony, we both looked at each other and said this is it, we’re buying this one. It was amazing because we’d been looking and each would like different houses but for this one, we were insync and it felt right for both of us, at the same time.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d use the money to have a wedding ceremony where both our family can finally celebrate our union together. We got married in a courthouse in Denmark with no family members present. So we can finally have a wedding celebration in South Africa with everyone present ☺️ (contribute to flights and accommodation for our German family and friends to South Africa)
