Our love story began with a lunch date that turned into eight hours of nonstop conversation we didn’t even let the waiter take our order at first! Two days later, we had our second date, and that night Maggie wrote in her journal that she wanted to marry him someday. From that moment on, it was history. What started as a spark quickly grew into a deep, lasting connection built on laughter, honesty, and a feeling we both knew was different from anything before.

On our first date, we shared our favorite places we’d traveled. Maggie described a little town at the base of the Alps with breathtaking views from the lake trail, and said, “I’d love to go there with you one day.” Two years later, we found ourselves in that exact spot having dinner at a cozy café, overlooking the starry Alps. In that moment, I realized we were living the dream we once only talked about madly in love, in a beautiful town that now held part of our story.

I would use it to honor my son by purchasing a memorial stone for his gravesite as a lasting tribute to his life, his memory, and the love we’ll always carry for him.
