It was 1986 in southwest Detroit Michigan on the corner of W Vernor Ave and Woodmere there is a laundromat, I was doing my laundry, she came to meet her sister, she asked to brush my hair I of course said yes, we talked briefly, I was mesmerized, she gave me her phone number on a dollar bill which I later called and the rest is history
