I moved from Washington, DC to Daytona Beach to get away from the city and start fresh. As you can imagine, Daytona is not the best place to find love for a queer woman in her early 30s. At the time I was working at a dental office and my coworker who met her boyfriend on Facebook dating, told me I should give it a try. The rest is history.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?On our first date she took me to the Pulse nightclub memorial. Being so open and vulnerable on the first date I found extremely attractive. She told me her experience that night and how it affected her forever. Found out that our first date was the first time she went out to a bar since the incident. The comfortability she showed with me to share that made me want to get to know her more.
What would you do with $20,000?Honestly, we are ready to start our family. We would love to purchase a home and start IVF to have a baby. $20,000 is a great push to our goals to start our own family traditions and create the life we always wanted.
