We met on a dating app during the height of the pandemic, when the only affordable temporary housing in LA Sung could find on her Nursing assignment from Atlanta was at Jonathan’s college Alma Mater, USC. Sung’s contract was cancelled upon her arrival, leaving her stranded in LA, wondering whether to go back home. Call it serendipity, but after matching on Hinge a few days later, we found our Ones & never looked back. 5 years later, we just got married! And even have a boy: a shihtzu named Rio
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Outside of the beautiful wedding we just had with all of our loved ones, it would have to be our very first “virtual date”. It was during the height of the pandemic, so we hadn’t yet met each other in person. Jonathan proposed PostMates-ing each other the same meal and going online to share it together. But Jonathan showed up at Sung’s door with the PostMates dinner only to drive back to his house and hop on his laptop to start our “virtual date”, we knew then We Were Meant For Each Other.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use our winnings to go on an EPIC honeymoon to Korea and Japan. And treat our brindle coated shihtzu-chihuahua, Rio, to endless unsalted In N Out burger patty dinners.
