Our love story began in Downtown San Diego in 2022. Trevontae is an extrovert dancer and Deija is the shy, sweet type. Combining the two personalities made us inseparable in the beginning. Deija was hesitant because of the negative narratives about “military men” and Tre was hesitant because of the negative narrative about “Woman from San Diego. As much as we have a loving story, we also have a realistic one.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite memory I’ve shared with Trevontae is, going to Big Bear for a baecation. Tre normally doesn’t plan our trips because I’m “picky” he says but it was meaningful to spend time together, seeing how he coordinated the weekend away from our home, the activities we did and our Airbnb was romantic. Feeling and watching a man’s love for you, in a positive space, is truly beautiful and makes you realize you didn’t understand “love” before.
What would you do with $20,000?My husbands getting out of his first contract with the USMC soon, we want to move to Tennessee. We’d use this money responsibly by putting a higher down payment for a home and be able to have the wedding we always talked about. We got married at the San Diego court house but want a wedding with all our family and friends.
