How did your love story begin?

Funny thing, we actually met on Facebook. I liked his interesting profile picture while searching for an old friend. I took a chance and messaged him. He replied a few days later explaining that it was taken on a church camping trip l. I was excited to hear he was a Christian because I had just found the Lord myself and we exchanged lots of messages about our faith and our lives… we decided to meet up in person after a few months and it turned out we lived 10 minutes from each other!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

It’s so hard to pick just one memory as each day brings new memories, obstacles and growth. If I had to pick just one it would be the birth of our first child together, who was born at home. Navigating pregnancy, birth and a newborn with such a supportive husband was a dream come true. I had previously experienced the birth of my first child as a young single mother and it was so challenging and lonely.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we were to win the money we would definitely use it wisely and not blow it all at once. First we would give some to our foster son’s father so he could get back on his feet and be reunited with his baby. Next we would take a fun family vacation because we hardly get the opportunity to things like that living frugally off of one income. Also, we would definitely purchase a second vehicle. It’s been tough having such a large family and only one working van!
