It started in April 2022. He had just lost his mom 6 months prior and my mom was just placed on hospice. I almost didn’t go on the date but my mom told me to go and that he could be the best thing I could’ve ever wanted. Needless to say, the date was amazing and we were with each other every day. He even started coming around my daughter and I knew he was the one when he pulled out a bag of quarters for the games for my kid. I really saw that he was in it for the long haul after that.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My mom was on hospice and was obviously in a lot of pain. So he started coming to see my mom and had gotten her a blanket in her favorite color that was soft enough for her peripheral neuropathy. She loved it so much and it pissed off the rest of my family because clearly she came her favorite after that. It was just his way of saying “I see the little things, too.”
What would you do with $20,000?I’d pay off our debt, put money away for my daughter and finally buy a headstone for my moms resting place.
