How did your love story begin?

We met at an indoor soccer facility, I was just finishing up a game and Jhaylyn was about to go into one. We got introduced to each other briefly and I stayed with a group to watch Jhaylyn's game. Afterwards we got to talking and Jhaylyn invited me to a party for our mutual friend in San Francisco in 2 days. I ended up going, started off the night driving to San Francisco in a bus with 12 other people. As soon as we got off the Bus, I grabbed Jhaylyns hand and danced the night away.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We went to Tulum after a destination wedding in Cancun. We stayed in a very remote Airbnb and rented a Vespa scooter with a broken headlight. We were running to dinner one night on the scooter. Jhay was driving, wind in my hair and holding on tight to him. Next thing you know we’re airborne, butts completely off the seat the only thing connected to the scooter was Jhays hands. 😂 he didn’t see the speed bump because of the broken headlight. Somehow we managed not to fall,we still laugh about it!

What would you do with $20,000?

We would use the money to finally be able to put a down payment on a little home. Jhay is a substitute teacher and I’m a server. So moneys pretty tight. We just had a baby 7 months ago today! His name is Jackson and he is the sweetest baby, so patient, kind and giggly. Everything we do, we do for him now. We live in a teeny apartment right now but want Jack to be able to live in a great neighborhood with at least a little yard or park nearby. If would help us with our dream 🩵
