We matched on a dating app about 5 years ago, more than once. It never went anywhere. We were both in places in our lives where, in hindsight, it likely would have never worked. About 2.5 years ago, we were both in places where we were dating intentionally and were not going to settle. We happened to match again and Chris’s opening line was “Are we actually going to give this a shot this time or what”. We talked all that night, went out to dinner next night and have been together ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We took a trip to Costa Rica last year for Chris’s birthday. It was our first trip together and our first time in Costa Rica. We stayed at a boutique resort and got to spend a week just relaxing, enjoying a new culture and experiences together. While many couples experience obstacles on their first vacation, we had the most blissful, loving trip and really were able to grow our relationship further.
What would you do with $20,000?We are in the midst of planning an intimate wedding, saving for our first home and planning for the future of our family. Winning $20,000 would give us an unbelievable head start in growing our family and helping us begin this next chapter of our lives!
