We met working together at a local restaurant. I can remember watching him walk in for his shift and I was immediately drawn to him. He trained me that first shift and we were fast friends. From day one he has been a strong calming presence for me. We had our first date December 23, 2011, which ended with me wrapping his kiddos Christmas presents back at his house. I kept him saved in my phone under an alias so nobody at work would catch on. From the very beginning we always had fun together!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The month we were engaged! I had spent 6 months living and working as an au pair in Norway. He convinced me to come home early and we spent the weekend in Brooklyn, NY. He proposed to me on June 6, 2015 at the overlook to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens Rose Garden. We had multiple trips between then and July 7, 2015 when we got married in Chicago before boarding a train back home to Pittsburgh.
What would you do with $20,000?I think we would like to put that money into a career change for me so that I could stay home and homeschool our two youngest boys who are 6 & 8 now.
