At first it wasn't your traditional love story actually. We met when we were both addicted to drugs. We stayed together in active addiction, while spending barley anytime apart. We surfed couches, lived in a tent and even outside in the elements. We were both basically homeless. Then one day we both decided enough was enough. We got an offer from a friend who lived far away to get off drugs and live with them. We have tried this before and it never stuck. But this time we had enough!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory that we both can agree on is when we got married on October 11, 2024! But also when we celebrate every single year clean and off drugs. We just celebrated 6 years sober on May 11, 2025! We stuck by each other's side every single day! We beat the statistics, that are couple who uses together will not stay together.
What would you do with $20,000?Number one we would take a dream honeymoon to Walt Disney World! Of course we would treat ourselves to what we love. Definitely buy a newer vehicle to get around in. (ours is 21 years old) And put some money away for our own home, since we rent right now.
