Connect How did your love story begin?

Bridget fell in love with Luke’s art before she ever even met him. Bridget and Luke went to the same high school but were a few years apart and didn’t meet at the time. Luke has always loved creating art that is full of whimsy. Bridget remembers the first time she saw his art hanging in the halls of their high school. Several years later, when they both were adults, Bridget and Luke connected and had their first date at a local ice cream parlor. Their weirdness matched each other perfectly.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Picture this scene: Luke is dressed up as Snooki, giant wig and all, as he executes a full 30 minute detailed roast of Bridget (who is, naturally, dressed up as Flavor Flav). We love to laugh together and there’s nothing that Bridget loves more than playful banter, so she decided to make her 30th birthday party a Comedy Central style roast! Luke understood the assignment and prepared a roast so hilarious and spot on that it made Bridget feel known and loved. Core memory achieved!

What would you do with $20,000?

It is no secret that we both LOVE our careers. As an artist and a social worker respectively, we get to live our passions every single day. We could, however, use this money towards starting our family together. We would use the money for preparing our life for our future children. We want to ensure our children have the opportunities to discover their passions like we have.
