He saw me in the halls during highschool and always thought I was the pretty alternative/goth girl that was popular, and I never noticed him. Years later we connected on a dating app and instantly clicked- we went on a bunch of ‘not dates’ and danced around our feelings until we made it official January 6th this year.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The first time I stayed the night at his house I tried to cook adobo, a very traditional and important dish to me growing up. Turns out he didn't have brown sugar and garlic, two major ingredients, so it came out super salty when we tried to replace brown sugar with cane sugar and we got distracted halfway through, so it almost burnt! Then we played cards and listened to records together, and had our first kiss.
What would you do with $20,000?We would be able to pay off a chunk of the mortgage on the house and fix my car so I can drive to college next semester.
