Connect How did your love story begin?

In 2010 I attended Pasadena City College where James would stop by to see friends regularly. He said it was love at first sight. I was spinning poi, wearing a long beatifully colored surang, dancing around the reflecting pools that were at the front of campus. We spoke but we're both seeing other people, that didn't stop James from wanting to get to know me more as the weeks went by. I allowed myself to be truely genuine. And boy did he see my true bright colors. :) before long we started dating

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

I know it's a little cliche, but our wedding was one of our favorite and most magical memories. Halloween weekend 2023, our theme was DnD. Due to the festive weekend everyone dressed in full dnd/renn faire attire and it was absolutely glorious! We laughed, we drank, swords were drawn, lanterns lit, and all were most certainly merry! We had so many loved ones gather, some significant people in our lives from 30+ years ago. It was certainly an epic tale to be told. I wouldn't have changed a thing.

What would you do with $20,000?

My husband is a writer and has been working the past decade on crafting his world of fantasy. Our friend group has played in tabletop RPG games for the past 20 years together and James turns our adventures of peril and glory into incredible stories. If we were to win we would use this to help James books gain some traction. I want nothing more than to see my husband succeed in his passion and everything he works for. We do this for the Sanguine Universe.
