They met in prison. Kerri was medical and Sami was an officer. It took Sami a year to realize Kerri was flirting with her but eventually they started dating. Sami would volunteer to do the perimeter checks, roughly a mile walk in the heat that ends in medical, to see Kerri.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?A few years back Kerri was in a bad car accident that shattered her left side after someone ran a stop sign. She spent a month between the hospital and rehab. She finally came home around Christmas and the first thing she wanted to do was hold Sami and sleep, since she hadn’t been able to for so long. Happiest moment ever!!
What would you do with $20,000?A few different things: Sensible would be to pay bills and what not. Another would be take Kerri on the Alaskan cruise she always wanted. To dream big it would go towards starting the pet caring and boarding business they have always wanted because they love animals so much.
