Connect How did your love story begin?

Connor and I met on Tinder in 2021. I was coming out of a bad relationship and Connor was busy taking his brother to and from doctor appointments while finishing up school. We were able to go on our first date in my hometown. We sat on the beach for hours just talking and joking around. I ended up breaking every single one of my dating “rules” for Connor because I knew from the first date that he was the one. Now, we regularly drive 2 hours in traffic to see each other.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of our favorite memories as a couple was when we went on our first vacation with my family. My family was going to Lake Havasu for a week and Connor was able to make time in his busy schedule to take a break. One day, we were enjoying the sun in the boat and a song by Eli Young Band came on. Connor grabbed my hand and started slow dancing with me in the bow of the boat. We are using that song as our first dance as a married couple in November.

What would you do with $20,000?

My parents have been helping us tremendously with the wedding. Between planning, talking to vendors, visiting venues, and finances, my parents have been helping us every step of the way. We would like to help pay them back with the money as a thank you (of course with some gift cards for them to enjoy some date nights). We also plan on moving out of the state to set us up better for our new life together with our dog, Idaho. So we would use some of the finances to aide in that aspect.
