Our story began in 10th-grade history he (Travis) was the charming football player, I (Shakyra) was the dancer. A Snapchat message sparked a summer of love, and by junior year, we were official. From our first date in 2017 to traveling the world and moving to Tampa, every moment brought us closer. He proposed in Texas on 12/29/23, and now we’re planning our forever in Mexico. A true love story still being written.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We’ve made so many unforgettable memories from seeing Lil Wayne live to celebrating our graduation with a Bahamas trip. He proposed in Texas, followed by the sweetest engagement party thrown by my mom. Most recently, we had the best time at our co-ed Bach weekend in Texas. Every moment together just keeps getting better!
What would you do with $20,000?With our wedding around the corner, we’d use some of the $20,000 to make it even more special. We’d also start a house and baby fund as we plan for our future. Most importantly, we’d give back supporting our church and helping other couples make their wedding dreams come true. We’ve been so blessed, and we want to be a blessing to others.
